Fixes

• Fixed an issue that prevented database backup names from being longer than 16 characters
• Fixed an issue that would not allow the preservation of Unicode file names when burning to optical media
• Fixed an issue that would not allow use of the space bar to pan an image when zoomed in while in the Edit mode Sharpen filter
• Fixed an issue that caused video files to not be correctly detected during Import when camera connected directly to computer
• Develop mode tools panel will scroll with the mouse wheel when hovering over the scroll bar
• Fixed an issue that caused the Restore to Original command to fail on images developed in ACDSee Pro 2.5 or earlier

Trimmed Functionality

During the life of a software product, there are times when some functionality needs to be retired rather than maintained. The following functional points have been removed in ACDSee Pro 6:

• In the database backup wizard, the ability to backup database and files to optical media has been removed
• Removed ability to burn a slideshow to optical media at end of Create Slideshow wizard
• Removed HighMAT, MPV and HTML Slideshow options from Burn Basket
• Removed Create Video or VCD wizard
• Removed Publish to TiVo
• Removed Device Detector

Known Issues

• Content of iPhone and other WIA devices does not display correctly when browsed directly with ACDSee

Not Supported

• ACDSee does not preserve the transparency in GIF and PNG files
• ACDSee does not preserve layers in PSD and TIFF files
• ACDSee does not preserve EXIF and IPTC metadata when a PSD file is edited

* Native 64 bit is not supported on WinXP. The following functionality is not supported in the x64 build of ACDSee Pro:

• Import from Scanner
• Various image, video and archive formats – see supported file formats for more information

** Only supported on Windows 7 and Windows 8
